This project milled the existing pavement and leveled/resurfaced 2,900 LF of this five-lane major arterial from the Viaduct Road Bridge south to near the intersection of Halsey Street. The work included allowances for spot utility and/or subsurface repairs, thermoplastic pavement markings and regrading the road shoulders as necessary to allow sheet drainage to flow off the road into adjacent swales.

Noisette Boulevard Resurfacing

This project milled the existing pavement and level/resurface 4,450 LF of this two-lane major arterial from Virginia Avenue to Turnbull Avenue. Four (4) abandoned railroad crossings were removed, thermoplastic pavement markings were installed and the existing drainage system was cleaned in an attempt to improve the drainage in the area. There was allowance for spot repairs to any drainage piping or structures that were required and for any road subsurface repairs.

This project required the Contractor to install reinforced concrete pile jackets on 12 steel piles (3 pile bents with 4 piles each). This work included thoroughly cleaning the steel piles to ensure proper bonding with the concrete infill, excavating the creek bottom to install the pile jackets and reinstalling the excavated material around the installed pile jackets.
